Kauai Photography Helicopter Tour

The volcano that formed the island of Kauai four million years ago has left a legacy of beauty and splendor. In its prime, it formed wonders such as Mount Wai’ale’ale and the Napali coast. When it finally collapsed, the volcano’s remaining lava formed the Waimea Canyon. The entire island is a nature photographer’s dream, whether you’re a professional or an amateur. On the flight, our pilot will take you around the island, but your eye will call the shots as you photograph the sites of Kauai. Mount Wai’ale’ale is tallest mountain on Kauai, with its summit almost always shrouded in clouds. Mount Wai’ale’ale is one of the wettest places on earth. The abundant rainfall has created a unique environment on the mountain. It is home to plants and animals not found anywhere else in the world. The streams and waterfalls flowing down the mountain have carved out a jagged but breathtaking landscape. You will get beautiful ocean shots along the Napali coast. Cliffs as tall as four thousand feet line the shore with jagged rock formations jutting into the ocean and nestling quiet nooks of sand beaches. Waterfalls run off the cliffs and a closer look reveals hidden caves along the shoreline. The brown and green landscape is a dramatic contrast to the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean. Waimea Canyon is ten miles long and more than three thousand feet deep. Years of water erosion have carved steep rough cliffs around the canyon. The once black lava rock has become a bright red, creating a colorful landscape. You will come away from this tour with a collection of photos that truly capture the splendor of Kauai.
